Meet Our Therapists

Stacey Baker - Director of Physical Therapy 

Stacey Baker graduated from Texas Women’s University in January 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy and biology.  She has 21 years of clinical experience as a professional physical therapist in the treatment of neurological and orthopedic injuries in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.  She has earned numerous honors throughout her career including speaker for the Amputee Health and Fitness Clinic in 1997 and speaker to the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Tarrant County College in 1993, presenter at the North Texas Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Annual Client Family Conference in 1991.  During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.

 

Randy Misenheimer – Staff Physical Therapist

Randy Misenheimer graduated from Texas Women's University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy.  He has practiced physical therapy in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for the past 28 years.  Randy and two partners began Physical Therapy of Irving in January 2001.  He and his partners later sold the practice to Irving Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in September 2006, where he has continued serving as a physical therapist.  He and his wife, Bonnie, have two grown children.  His outside interests include spending time with his family, church, hunting and sports.

 

Patrick McLean - Staff Occupational/Certified Hand Therapist 

Patrick McLean has specialized in hand therapy since January of 1997.  He is in his 15th year of practice as a hand and upper extremity therapist.  He has been a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) and the Texas Chapter of ASHT since 1997.  Patrick enjoys seeing rapid recovery of hand and upper extremity clients from all degrees of complexity.  He has been certified in hand therapy since 2002.  His focus of treatment is on the fingers, wrist, elbow and shoulders.  He and his family have lived in the town of Pantego, Texas for the past 20 years.

 

 

Chris Flaherty – Staff Physical Therapist 

Chris Flaherty received his Master's of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in May 2005.  His focus is on the management of extremity orthopedic injury of the knee, shoulder, foot and ankle.  He is known for his philosophy to create and implement therapeutic interventions that treat an individual's underlying problem not just his/her symptoms.  He specializes in rapidly returning athletes back to sports following injuries.  He is the therapist of choice for professional athletes such as Gary Baxter (Cleveland Browns), Shawn Smith (Cincinnati Bengals) and Kevin Payne (Chicago Bears).

 

Jason Goode - Staff Physical Therapist

Jason Goode earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences and Master's of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He graduated in 2006 and has practiced physical therapy professionally since then. He moved to Dallas to do inpatient and outpatient therapy along with aquatic therapy and cardiac rehab. He joined IOSM in 2009 and is in the process of earning his Strength and Conditioning certification and along with special interests in functional manual therapy. He enjoys training for triathlons and running with his dog. He really takes pride in his treatment and likes working with shoulders, hips, knees and ankles.

 

Amber Klassen - Staff Physical Therapist

Amber Klassen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst University located in Kansas City, Missouri. Amber graduated from Rockhurst in 2009 and moved to Dallas shortly thereafter. Since Amber has moved to Dallas she has worked as a contract physical therapist in a variety of settings including long term care, long term acute care, outpatient, aquatic therapy, and rehabilitation. She joined IOSM in 2010 and is currently earning her Manual Therapy certification. Amber says she is inspired by her patient’s strength to get better every day, and she takes pride in educating and motivating her patients to expect more from themselves and to live healthier lives. She aspires to continue to develop her knowledge in the sports medicine field and help to heal great athletes. Amber’s interests include staying active, volunteering, traveling, and yoga.
 

Tony Hurt - Staff Physical Therapist Assistant 

Tony Hurt graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor in Human Sciences and received his Associates degree from Odessa College as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Tony has 12 year experience as a therapist in all facets of outpatient orthopedics, specializing in helping injured workers return work. He and his two children enjoy playing sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
