About Dr. Kazewych

Mark Alexander Kazewych, MD completed his surgical training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan in 2000. Prior to earning his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, he received a Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree with subspecialty interests in polymers and plastics from GMI Engineering & Management Institute.

Dr. Kazewych himself is a former collegiate athlete, and is knowledgeable on training and dieting techniques. While in practice in Michigan, Dr. Kazewych was a volunteer physician for Men’s Division I Ice Hockey at Ferris State University. His personal interests include assistant coaching youth hockey, skiing, and working on cars.

Dr. Kazewych treats shoulder conditions at all levels. He performs minimally invasive arthroscopic shoulder surgery on complex injuries to help patients return to normal activities sooner.
